The family hearth “Little Down” is an openwork piece decorated with 12-carat gold that will bring cosiness to any home. Through the openwork cut-outs the candlelight is reflected beautifully in the dark, creating a romantic atmosphere. The family hearth is handmade, so in reality it may differ slightly from the photo.
The handmade family hearth is made from the highest-quality materials. We use only the best porcelain which, fired at a very high temperature, makes the piece light and strong. Although it may look fragile at first glance, the production techniques ensure strength and longevity, and the glaze gives the piece its shine and smoothness. Thanks to its properties, porcelain is less likely to chip or crack than ordinary ceramics. The real 12-carat gold used to decorate the family hearth gives it sparkle and a sense of luxury and turns it into an elegant, refined work of art that will remind the couple of the most wonderful day of their lives.
At weddings the tradition of passing on the family hearth is a moving ceremony. Parents or other relatives pass on the fire glowing in the hearth, wishing harmony, wisdom and love. It is a touching moment that leaves no one indifferent. The family hearth is given by the parents, who usually ask the couple which hearth they would like.
